Valentines Day- WORRIED ABOUT LOVE!

THIS SENIOR DISCOUNT RATED XXX

It’s Valentine’s Day!  I do have a Valentine, even if he knows I am counting points on WW and he gets me a double chocolate cupcake to celebrate our love.  I must confess, after the day I had, I ate it—points and all.  But while the day started off questionable in my business life, I came to terms with that. It is business.  I also enjoyed a Valentine Day tonic before going out to dinner with my Valentine. So while I sipped,  I watched the news.

The feature on the news was Valentine gifts for your lover.  All of the gifts were electronic.   So let me share what you can get for your lover:

1-      The “Thinking of you” lamp-  This is a set of two lamps—one you keep and one you give to your friend.  Then, when you think about each other, you send a signal to the lamp that will change the color of the light. The lover sees the light and your loved one knows you are thinking about them.

2-      The “Thinking of you”  app.  It is the same theory as the lamp, however, you wear it on your wrist. It is an app for apple watch or some sort of device you wear on your wrist, you purchase the app (again, you will have to make sure your loved one has the same app) and when you are thinking of your lover, you tap the watch face and it vibrates your lover on the other end. In fact, that is the sales pitch: If you don’t want to talk to your loved one, at least let them know you thinking of them—send a vibration!   For me, let me know when you are going to send the vibration and I will sit on my watch for an extra special sensation and thinking of him.

3-      The Electronic Kiss-  You put your lips to against the lips of this device and it sends your kiss to your lover.  I hope the lover has one on the other end.  OK, they said it was for lovers who are in long distance relationships.  My mind went to make a better mouse trap.  How about getting your lover a computerized rubber doll.  Don’t just send lips.  Get an anatomically correct doll computerized—with the vibrations and sensations you need and want! Send that across the wifi!

I think of all of those people who are spending Valentines Day alone—either single or having lost the love of their life.  I think how each of these people would love to have a touch, a phone call, a visit—an in person, give me a hug visit.  I do not think that any app will ever replace that.

Bottom line: if you in love with someone, don’t rely on an app or computer program.  Talk. Call. Speak, Touch. No app will ever replace you.
