In 1985, Barbara Kauffman, President and CEO, founded Kauffman Creative Services after discovering a niche and under cared for market: combining the savvy of the mega public relations firm with the integrity of warm and personal service of a small town shop. Previously, she had been working as a communications specialist for a major marketing firm dealing with Fortune 500 companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. She found herself being forced to turn away the small businesses who came to her for help - the mega firm had no time and the local businesses had no clout. What the mega firm overlooked was the importance of growing with their clients. For over 30 years, Barb has led the charge in championing local businesses, evening the playing field for them to grow in the digital age. Over the years she has handled small businesses in the Mid-Atlantic to small businesses in Germany and the UK. Along the way, she's expanded her team and continues to foster the gift of communications in house and in the community.
